WOODSIDE NIPPERS
Woodside Nippers is an engaging surf awareness program tailored for children aged 5-13.
Join us at Yanchep SLSC for an exciting and educational Surf Safety and Awareness program tailored for our Woodside Nippers. Held on Sunday mornings, this engaging outdoor activity is designed to boost confidence, impart valuable life skills, and teach essential lessons about beach safety.
Woodside Nippers participate in a range of activities such as running, swimming, laughing, and making new friends, all in a fun and safe environment. Through participation, children develop a sense of belonging and learn the importance of community, fostering personal growth and enjoyment of the beach environment.
Children must be 5 years old by 30th September as per SLSWA requirements.
Get ready for an exciting season ahead, the Season kicks off on Sunday, 27th October 2024, running until 30th March 2025, with a break for Christmas.
Groups meet at the Surf Club at 8:30am for a 9:00am start (U7’s start at 10:00am)
All Woodside Nippers are required to undertake a proficiency swim test, details regarding this and everything else you need to know can be found in the Nipper Information Guide.
