Our Beach
Yanchep Surf Life Saving Club patrols Yanchep Lagoon Beach every Sunday morning during the patrol season, helping to keep our community safe in and around the water.
Throughout the season, our members also take part in special patrols, including abalone patrols and support for community activities and events.
Our Patrol Area
Our primary patrol area covers approximately 300 metres of beach extending north from inside Yanchep Lagoon.
Our patrols may also extend further along the coastline to include:
Rafts, a popular local surf spot
Club Capricorn Beach to the north
Fishermans Hollow to the south, known for its popular shallow waters
Keeping You Safe
Our role is to prevent people from getting into dangerous situations and to rescue those who may be in difficulty or at risk of drowning.
Our lifesavers are there to help, so if you’re unsure about the conditions, please speak to a member of the patrol team.
Remember: always swim between the red and yellow flags. It’s the safest place to swim!
